  RAFFLES DISCOVERY STUDIO (RDS(X) MAKERSPACE) BOOKING REQUEST FORM for STAFF  


 5 DAYS ADVANCED BOOKING IS REQUIRED 

 

The RDS(X) - Makerspace aims to provide a safe, comfortable, conducive and supportive learning space

  •  Where users can apply what they have learned and pursue their passion and interests beyond the normal structure of the classroom,
  • To inspire and cultivate the maker’s culture of tinkering and creating; exploration and experimentation through hands-on, activity-based projects,
  • For knowledge-sharing where users of similar interests can congregate, connect and interact with one another and collaborate on group tasks and projects, inculcating supportive peer and collaborative culture.

The RDS(X) – Makerspace also inculcates a makerspace culture that runs in tandem with the Rafflesian Principle of Honour and that should be exercised by all its users when utilizing its resources and space in their intellectual pursuits. In addition, all users of RDS(X)-Makerspace need to adhere to an established code of conduct as well as safety guidelines to ensure a safe learning environment for everyone at all times.

        Every Friday - 1400h to 1630h 

 Terms and Guidelines for RDS(X) Makerspace Studio Booking Request (Staff)

 

  • Approval to use RDS(X) Makerspace will be subject to:

       (i) compliance with the advisory notes provided by the Singapore Police Force and the Makerspace code of conduct and safety guidelines established by the school;

       (ii) availability of the room

  • A maximum of 3 bookings can be made per request.
  • Should you need to inform of any errors in and changes to a booking after submission has been made or have any queries, kindly email [email protected]
