Register your interest here for the MOE Taiwan Immersion Programme 2019 The MOE Taiwan Immersion Programme is an annual affair that has two parts. Students from RI will join students from 4 other JCs for this programme. It is an awesome opportunity to know more friends in Singapore and in Taiwan, with a unique homestay component with your Taiwanese buddies! **Click here for the Programme Invitation Letter** The programme consists of two parts, namely:
• an immersion programme in English for Taiwanese students who will be hosted by Singaporean families; and
• an immersion programme in Mandarin for Singaporean students who will be hosted by Taiwanese families.
The objectives of the programme for our Singaporean students are:
• To improve their proficiency in Mandarin (note: mastery of the language is not necessary);
• To enhance their knowledge of Chinese culture and tradition; and
• To establish goodwill and friendship between the young people of Singapore and Taiwan.
